Friends of Chestnut Grove Annual General Meeting - Thursday 30th November at 6.30pm

You are invited to attend the Friends of Chestnut Grove Annual General Meeting which will be held on Thursday 30th November at 6.30pm in the school canteen (please use Boundaries Road entrance) - light refreshments available. This precedes the Year 7 Bingo and Mingle which commences at 7pm.

You will hear what we have been doing during the last year and what events have been planned for the forthcoming year. We will explain how we spend the money raised from FoCGA events and be asking attendees for their ideas and feedback. We will be electing our committee for 2023/4 and we are looking for some new people to join us as we will be losing some members whose children will be leaving the school soon.

The Friends of Chestnut Grove committee meets on average twice a term, liaising with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, agreeing strategy, spending and planning activities to raise much needed funds for the school. The committee consists of the following: Chair / Vice-Chair (or Joint Co-Chairs), Secretary, Treasurer, Staff Members and as many other parent members as would like to join. 

We are keen to encourage new parents to join our existing enthusiastic team of volunteers to make things happen in 2023/24 and can assure you of a productive, supportive and fun environment to make a difference, connect with the school and to make friends.

We would like to invite anyone who would be interested in being a committee members.

There is also the opportunity to be nominated for ‘officers’ Chair/Secretary and Treasurer on the form. While the currently officers are happy to continue, we are always interested to hear from people who would be interested and can vote or offer co-roles if necessary.
