The school is committed to providing continuity of education to our students in all circumstances and will make remote learning a feature of the curriculum so that learning can be facilitated outside of the physical classroom. Remote learning will become an integrated approach to teaching and learning which will complement and, if necessary, replace face-to-face provision.
Remote learning would apply particularly in a situation in which a class, group or small number of students are unable to attend school due to local restrictions, or in the case of school closure. Where a pupil is unable to attend school because they are complying with clinical and/or public health advice, we would also offer remote learning.
Remote learning may also be appropriate in situations when students, in agreement with the school, have a period of absence but are able to work at home, at least to some extent. This may apply in cases such as exclusion from school, or longer term illness, assuming students are able to complete school work at home.
Remote learning is delivered through Microsoft Teams and all students have access to Microsoft Office. For more information, please log in to Teams and access the relevant Year Group Team. If you have forgotten or lost your login details or password, you can reset them by clicking here.
